Weak Signals

I have been fascinated by weak signals  ever since I heard about them a couple of years ago. Weak Signals were conceptualized by Ansoff, H. Igor.

I stumbled upon this study titled Weak Signals in Innovation Journalism – Cases Google, Facebook and Twitter

So here are some questions:

  • How do you detect weak signals?
  • How do you know when you find them that they are worth following?
  • How do you track them so that you can predict early the chance of a success?

I have some ideas, but they may be biased based on what we do. How do you do it today?
