I have seen some really long articles/blog posts like Paul Grahams essays and Maria Popova’s book reviews, and some very short ones like Seth Godin’s blog posts. I enjoy both. What about you? Does the length of a blog post matter to you?

My preference is for postings of around 200-250 words with links and references to relevant material. If there is an active discussion, then all the better.
