What If?

Eric Schmidt of Google says:

“There was 5 exabytes of information created between the dawn of civilization through 2003, but that much information is now created every 2 days, and the pace is increasing…People aren’t ready for the technology revolution that’s going to happen to them.”

Eric points out a few scenarios and I am sure over the next few days we will get lot more comments about others. As someone pointed out, even after you remove all duplicates there will still be quite a chunk.

What would you do if you had a fragment of this data available to you? Any facet? With powerful tools to slice/dice, mine some of this data? What about Governments? Or Corporations? What can they do with this data? Just think about it.
